Machinists gift to mom, any ideas?
Written by Josh on January 30, 2009 – 8:26 am -Work in a shop fitting of metal and have long dead now, I have access to a CNC lathe, a milling machine and lots of aluminum scrap. I thought it was cool to make something on order for my mom for mothers day, but I don 't have any ideas. The media have come candle to mind, a certain kind of thing, all the ideas of Nack of scratches?

He gardening? Could accept a sculpture or a trellis, or a box decorated to reflect a flowerpot. Inside, perhaps a base of paper napkin or a pair of stirrups nice hook of the plant. .

Gradica supports the idea of candlelight. Of course, you could also work some pretty impressive parties to the machine for a necklace or earrings. Perhaps some branelli cold or something.

Yes a candle holder would be a good idea. Make it quite large diameter to hold anything from a tea-light to a church candle. The outside cylinder could be cut with lots of patterns so that it gives great shadows.
