I doubt you 'll can build the one in your garage. Machines are complicated and precisely made. 'd Need the structural parts of the machine, arms and base. You need the actuators for the movement of these shares, for an electrical actuators. You should be able to very precisely the position of the party of the components of the machine. 'd Need a computer to monitor and control everything, plus software to do it does what you want. You need to firmly and consistently keep the party you 're grinding. There is a reason that these machines are expensive.

hey, who knows what? I was thinking that the period the same thought as well u, i 'the VE has operated the old machine CNC skool first, to use manual control and still make paricolare. My idea was to move the tht of copy that I want to cut instead of moving its arm. so, I think this could solve the hydraulic arm and all the problems of tht stuff. I think that might work if u have a moving arm of Z-axis heavy arm attached to and support for the sample should be able to move in the axis 2, so u can Control-X and Y axis using bolt shaft + Manual (2 of them for each axis) and for representation in scale, u need to put markings on sheets or support ur so when u run bolt to move the shaft and the support of speciment, the u know what u need to turn to move to 1 mm and 0001 mm: p

Can I share my experience. Many people choose to adapt a standard CNC mill. Instead, I bought a CNC-ready "rolling mill by TAIGA (http://www.taigtools.com/) and a Xylotex drive the box (http://www.xylotex.com/). As I 'm you 'safe; kings engines step by step guide and informed the mill' of the nut if you control the movement of the mill. Using a standard Windows machine that runs ArtSoft 's Mach3 (http://www.machsupport.com/) to monitor the mill. To really do something useful, you 'll also the needs of CAD software to design the parts you want to develop and cam software to create a virtual paths by the parties you' the VE was designed. The above-cam software is frequently observed by people new to CNC and can be much more expensive CAD software. The packages are common cam MasterCAM and BobCAD. I suggest to look around a package that you can afford. If you go a route similar to mine, think about spending $ 2000 on the mill on the box of actuation, engines and accessories. In addition you 'll need of a workstation to control the mill, the software for controlling the rolling mill, the software to design your parts and software to create a virtual paths by the parties. My main use for the manufacture of parts for the robot and it 's been great. Good luck!
