Is there a machine that will thread / tap a hole for me?
Written by Josh on July 15, 2009 – 7:21 am -What I want to do is to hit a hole slightly with 1 / 4 "fillets of NPT or 1 / 8" fillet of NPT. The party has grown from a 2 "aluminum round. However, I would prefer to do this with a piece of machinery. Is there a machine that will do what is affordable? Can a press of a drill or moulders measure with a link to do this? If not, is there anything I should know this before groped with a traditional tap? Maybe it wasn 't clear, but I' m the seeking a replacement mechanic for the tap and die sets because often don 't go into the law, or have issues with the spogliatura, particularly in aluminum.
